改編自《聊齋誌異·葛巾》。入贅相府數年的常在田,衣冠光鮮地帶著隨從魏新突然回到了七年未歸的故鄉鹿韭村。發現當年的戀人曹玉在自己進京趕考後不久便慘遭山匪殺害,全家人亦無壹幸免。見此慘狀,常在田心中悲痛但卻又暗自僥幸。回鄉當晚,常在田在曹府舊宅離奇地遇到壹位與曹小姐相貌壹致的姑娘阿玉。短暫相處中,常在田覺得她舉手投足間都是曹小姐當年的影子。 與此同時,村莊不斷發生離奇怪事,降妖術士桑道人,更口口聲聲說鹿韭村怨氣深重,有妖怪作祟。如世外桃源的小山村裏,詭異的氛圍頓時彌漫開來。
眼前的阿玉究竟是誰?村民的諱莫如深又隱藏了什麽秘密?看似不起眼的隨從魏新又懷揣著什麽秘密?面對錯綜復雜的局面,暗藏在鹿韭村的妖異也向常在田伸出了魔爪…
