話劇演員靳兆楠（鄭少秋飾）因女兒失蹤多年性情大變，與妻子莫麗馨（陳秀珠飾）離婚收場。兆楠全情投入舞台演藝事業，因出演殺人犯的角色而捲進離奇連環謀殺案，無意間經同事李楚蕎（邵美琪飾）認識她的男友章世言（陳豪飾）及其妹章世婷（陳茵媺飾），在往來之間，兆楠漸察覺世言與謀殺案的疑凶十分相似，加上對世婷的一種異常感覺，使四人的關係顯得撲朔迷離離題千億萬丈，最後不能自拔；當兆楠越想弄清真相，越發覺自己與真相距離越遠，甚至比他可想像的更令人戰慄和心寒...
